Social Groups at Your Side are our most popular, and famous, service! We have regularly coordinated activities that bring together older people in local areas to meet, talk, and have fun. Our clients help decide what types of events and activities we plan, aligned to their interests and tastes. There is something for everyone including:
- Movies and lunch
- Book clubs
- Art and crafts classes
- Yoga classes
- Spanish language classes
- Cultural events and celebrations
- Trips to the theatre and art galleries
- Overnight vacations to destination locations
To make them accessible for everyone, some activities take place online and we organise transport for some events from a designated local pick-up zone. The Social program is designed to bring people together, help you explore new skills and interests, socialise and meet friends, and stay active, connected, and independent.
