Meet Amanda

Amanda can be described as one of the core team members of Your Side, having been at the organisation for over 20 years!

She has always been passionate about all things Information Technology related. In the 90s after having two children and working in   Human Resources, Amanda decided to re-train to chase her dreams of working in IT.

This change of career also opened the door for her to pursue another interest of hers, working in community services, just like her mum.

Amanda started at Your Side in August 2003 and has made a thriving career since being here. Two months after she joined the organisation, she was tasked with overseeing a full server and network upgrade. Ever since then her skills and role has grown into working across a variety of IT sectors including programming, web development, portal management, adherence to government funding, and so much more.

She has seen this organisation go through many changes and periods of growth over the last 20 years. She has seen the technology and systems change over that time, but one thing has stayed a constant for her; the excitement she has when she comes to work.
