The Consumer Advisory Body

Your voices matter. We take an inclusive and collaborative approach to seeking and receiving feedback and varied perspectives. Our Care and Clinical Governance Framework encourages a culture of learning and growth among our staff and our providers. Regular reviews of our practices, sharing best practice, and seeking feedback from clients and families helps us continuously enhance the care and support we provide.

We set up a Consumer Advisory Body (CAB) in August 2023 to create a forum for client input and feedback.  The Your Side CAB comprises clients, participants, and individuals who care for a family member, and they meet to help identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to Your Side’s executive management and the Board.

A member of our CAB also attends our Quality Care Advisory Body, led by our Care and Clinical Governance Manager, to represent the views of the CAB and advocate for clients’ needs.

We are fortunate to have a very engaged group in our CAB who have made a constructive contribution with their suggestions and advice.
