Young Carers Creative Competition

In the lead-up to Carers Week we celebrate and thank Australia’s 235,000+ young carers, who go above and beyond to provide unpaid care to their family members, friends, or community.

At Your Side, we have seen first-hand how amazing young carers are, and we truly value your compassion, resilience, and creativity.

We want young carers to create something that represents what care means to them.

Whether you’re a budding writer, make music or movies, take photos, or dabble in the visual arts (painting or drawing), we would love to see you express yourself – and we have cool prizes to boot! Time to shine!

You may submit a photo series, a short-written piece, a short film, a music track, or an art piece – the sky’s the limit.
