What are your qualifications/background?
I have a Bachelor Social Work from Sydney University. I have been working in aged care for over 10 years in both clinical and community settings.
Which languages do you speak?
I only speak English but I have always wanted to learn another language. I am particularly interested in Italian, especially being married to an Italian.
What is your role at Your Side and how do you think it will improve client care and services?
I am the Relationships Manager in the business Growth Team. I work collaboratively with our stakeholders and partners to ensure we can provide the best service for clients. I am invested in making sure all our clients receive services that are suited to their needs and I communicate this to our referrers and stakeholders. Your Side has a strong reputation for service delivery which is evident by how many clients recommend their friends and family to our service.
Why did you join Your Side?
I wanted to join a not-for-profit who existed to purely and simply to support clients to live in their own home. I believe truly in our model of care and I see every day how hard our team works to ensure clients are living their best life. Your Side is more like a family, the team are so welcoming to each and every person who walks in the door and it is reflected in their approach to their clients.
