Your Side is opening an invitation for clients to join our Consumer Advisory Body and contribute your ongoing feedback about our services.
We know we need to constantly seek to understand our clients’ perspectives about their experience of our services.
Your Side’s Consumer Advisory Body is a structured environment for stakeholders in our consumer community to provide input and advice on our service delivery. As a member of the Consumer Advisory Body, you will have the opportunity to hear about government policy changes in services to aged care, carers and people living with disabilities. We present information on how Your Side plans to respond to these changes and, with your perspective and experience as a client, you have the opportunity to directly influence our plans.
The Consumer Advisory Body enables Your Side to include and consider the voice of our clients in service planning and delivery. The feedback from the Consumer Advisory Body is presented to Your Side’s Board of Directors and, if applicable, will also inform our Continuous Quality Improvement plans. The Consumer Advisory Body meets approximately three times a year for up to 3-4 hours. The meetings can occur in our office in Chatswood and online.
You are eligible to join our Consumer Advisory Body if you are:
- A CHSP client
- A Home Care Package client
- A care finder client
- Caring for someone who uses Your Side’s services
What the group discusses is decided by the Consumer Advisory Body, however the following matters are generally on the agenda:
- Client feedback and experience with accessing and delivery of our services.
- Client’s general needs when navigating the care systems.
- Any changes to government policy/funding and how Your Side can adapt for the benefit of clients.
